About Us

One Thousand Words Photography is us - Angie and Ashley.

We met in the very first class on the very first day of art school and bonded over a deep love of photography and pretty dresses.  Years later we're delightfully surprised to realize that we spend our working hours photographing people in love and the people that love them.  We are based in the Seattle area but welcome travel all over the world.  Thanks so much for stopping by our blog!

If that's just not enough - follow us on twitter:

Smile because it happened.

We’ve been home for a week now and I miss my family.  We spent two weeks laughing and smiling and memory making with my parents and siblings.  We married off David and Amy and hugged my Dad for the last time before his deployment to Iraq.  This post is mostly for my Mom.  I love you Lamb Family.

With startling consistency, you've again aced max-emo moments with precision-guided phrases and a few on-target, hi-impact photos. You put a huge piece of "awesome" in this fam and your daddy is so totally proud of his clever girl! Our joy was so extreme, I almost forgot about going to Iraq -- but I'll never forget my precious and fascinating Misty Mist (hmmmm, hmmmm)! dad
